Born in Princeton, New Jersey, Dan graduated from The Pennington School and received his B.A. from The American University. He attended Saint Louis University School of Law, graduating in 1976, where he was President of the Student Bar Association and on the Law Review Staff. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri (1976) and Alabama (1979) along with the Southern District of Alabama, the 5th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court (1980). He was an instructor at Springhill College (1987 – 1995).

Over the past fourty years, Dan has handled many types of litigation, along with an office practice. He handles all probate matters; including conservatorships and deceased estates. He represents several small companies and individuals in all manner of litigation and dispute management. He handles immigration matters. He has successfully litigated several cases through the appellate courts. Known as a “lawyer’s lawyer”, Dan has represented attorneys and judges. He has enjoyed an A/V rating (the highest) from his peers for the last fifteen (15) years.

Dan is a member of the Mobile Bar Association. He has been a member of the Executive Committee (1991) and Chaired the Pro Bono Program (1990-1993). He practices general civil litigation, wills, estates and probate law, immigration law and appellate matters. He also handles federal and state white-collar criminal cases.
